Ingredients:
1 Whole Chicken
1½ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Black pepper
1 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
- FRENCH WHITE STEW
1 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
30g Butter
1 medium Onions (Diced)
½ Teaspoon Thyme
3 Garlic cloves (Diced)
1 Teaspoon Corn Flour
1 Cup Chicken stock
1 Teaspoon Salt
¼ Teaspoon Black pepper
250ml Heavy Cream
1 Tablespoon Parsley (Chopped)
Directions
- Cut whole chicken into four parts
- Drizzle vegetable oil on chicken
- Season with salt and black pepper
- Flip chicken, drizzle some oil and season with salt and black pepper
- Drizzle vegetable oil in pan on medium high heat
- Place chicken, skin side down
- Cook for 5 minutes
- Flip chicken, cook for 5 minutes
- Remove and place in air fryer at 180°C for 10 – 15 minutes
- Meanwhile begin making the cream sauce for the chicken
- Drizzle vegetable oil in pan on medium high heat
- Add butter. Add onions and garlic. Sauté for 3 minutes
- Add thyme, cook for 1 minute. Add corn flour. Cook for 1 minute
- Add chicken stock. Cook and continue to stir until it thickens
- Add heavy cream. Cook and continue to stir until it thickens
- Add salt and black pepper to taste
- Add chicken to sauce, garnish and serve. ENJOY!
