400g Sirloin beef, cubed
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
2 cups beef broth
1 Sweet red pepper (blended) or 1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dried thyme
2 carrots, chopped
2 potatoes, chopped
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)
Directions
- Season Sirloin Beef with salt and pepper
- Heat oil in a large pot.
- Brown beef cubes for a few minutes
- Add onion. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add garlic and thyme. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add carrots. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Add sweet red pepper. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
