Ingredient

  • 800g Strong white bread flour

  • 14g Instant Dry Yeast

  • 150g Caster Sugar

  • 350ml Milk  (Lukewarm)

  • 40g Honey

  • 10ml Vanilla

  • 4 Egg (260g)

  • 220g Soft Butter

  • 240g Chocolate chips

Directions

  • Add bread flour into mixer bowl
  • Add instant dry yeast and caster sugar
  • Attach a dough hook and switch on the mixer
  • Add the lukewarm milk, eggs, honey and Vanilla
  • Mix dough for 8 – 10 minutes until more elastic and smooth
  • Mix in the soft butter. Dough is ready when it is elastic and smooth
  • Add chocolate chips.
  • Cover with cling film. Allow to proof for 1 hour or until double in size
  • Dust work surface with little flour. Tip out the risen dough
  • Divide into 3 equal dough. Shape and place in panettone paper cases 11 by 15 cm
  • Cover with cling film and allow to proof for 60 to 90 minutes
  • Slash across the top with a razor.
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 160°C for 45 – 50 minutes
  • Ready! Allow to cool. ENJOY!
