Chocolate Panettone Recipe for Christmas

800g Strong white bread flour
14g Instant Dry Yeast
150g Caster Sugar
350ml Milk (Lukewarm)
40g Honey
10ml Vanilla
4 Egg (260g)
220g Soft Butter
240g Chocolate chips
Directions
- Add bread flour into mixer bowl
- Add instant dry yeast and caster sugar
- Attach a dough hook and switch on the mixer
- Add the lukewarm milk, eggs, honey and Vanilla
- Mix dough for 8 – 10 minutes until more elastic and smooth
- Mix in the soft butter. Dough is ready when it is elastic and smooth
- Add chocolate chips.
- Cover with cling film. Allow to proof for 1 hour or until double in size
- Dust work surface with little flour. Tip out the risen dough
- Divide into 3 equal dough. Shape and place in panettone paper cases 11 by 15 cm
- Cover with cling film and allow to proof for 60 to 90 minutes
- Slash across the top with a razor.
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 160°C for 45 – 50 minutes
- Ready! Allow to cool. ENJOY!
