- CHOCOLATE CAKE:
500g Chocolate Cake mix
180ml Milk
3 Eggs
Smarties and Sprinkles
CHOCOLATE GANACHE:200g Dark Chocolate
200g Heavy Cream
1 Tablespoon Golden syrup
Directions
- Preheat oven to 180°C
- Separate egg yolk from white
- Whisk egg white stiff peaks
- Pour chocolate cake mix in a bowl
- Mix in egg yolk and milk
- Add egg whites and mix until combined
- Transfer to a baking tray lined with parchment paper
- Bake for 12-15 minutes
- When Ready! Allow cake to cool in tray
- To make chocolate ganache
- Add golden syrup to heavy cream
- Place in the microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute.
- Add dark chocolate and mix until combined
- Pour ganache over cake
- Decorate with smarties and sprinkles
- Keep in fridge to set
- Cut into portions and serve
