5 Chicken thighs
½ Teaspoon Salt
½ Teaspoon Black pepper
- FRENCH STEW
2 Tablespoon Vegetable oil
40g Butter
2 medium Onions (Chopped)
200g Chestnut mushrooms (Chopped)
½ Teaspoon Thyme
3 Garlic cloves (Diced)
1½ Tablespoon Flour
1½ Cups Chicken stock
1 Teaspoon Salt
¼ Teaspoon Black pepper
100ml Heavy Cream
2 Tablespoon Parsley (Chopped)
Directions
- Season with salt and black pepper
- Add vegetable oil and butter to sauce pan medium high heat
- Place chicken thigh skin side down
- Cook on medium high heat for 5 minutes
- Flip Chicken thighs and cook for 3 minutes
- Remove chicken and set aside
- Add Onions and mushrooms to same sauce pan
- Sauté for 3 minutes then add thyme and garlic
- Cook for 2 minutes then add flour and cook for 1 minute
- Add chicken stock then season with salt and black pepper
- Put chicken into sauce skin side up
- Cover and allow to simmer for 10 minutes
- Remove lid and cook for 5 minutes
- Remove chicken and add cream in sauce
- Return Chicken, garnish with parsley and serve
