🧑‍🍳 Easy No-Knead Focaccia Bread

📝 Ingredients:

  • 1 packet focaccia bread mix (around 500 g / 17 oz)

  • Warm water – follow the packet’s recommended amount (usually 300–350 ml / 1¼–1½ cups)

  • Olive oil – about 5 tbsp for the dough and drizzling

  • Sliced olives

  • Rosemary

👩‍🍳 Instructions:

  • In a large bowl, Pour in lukewarm water and 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Add the focaccia mix
  • Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula until everything is combined — the dough will be sticky and shaggy.
  • Scrape down the sides and cover bowl for 30 minutes
  • Dip hand in water to prevent dough from sticking to hands
  • Stretch and fold the dough to the opposite side of the bowl. Rotate the bowl to one quarter and repeat 3 times
  • Cover bowl and leave for 30 minutes
  • Repeat the stretch and fold process another 3 times, leaving 30 minutes in between each round.
  • Cover with plastic wrap and allow to proof for 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Generously grease 9Ă— 9 inch pan with olive oil
  • Gently transfer dough into pan
  • Drizzle with olive oil. Gently stretch it toward the edges with oiled fingertips
  • Cover and allow to proof for 1 hour
  • Drizzle another 1 tbsp olive oil over the dough.
  • Press oiled fingertips into the surface to make deep dimples
  • Top with sliced olives and rosemary
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (400°F) for 20–25 minutes
  • Allow to cool on the wire rack before serving
