Cinnamon Heart Rolls Recipe

430g Plain flour
50g Golden Caster sugar
7g Instant Yeast
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
3/4 Cup Milk
75g Butter (Melted)
1 Eggs
1/3 Cup Brown sugar
2 Tablespoon Cinnamon powder
40g Soft Butter
Directions
- Place the plain flour into a bowl.
- Add golden caster sugar, yeast and salt
- Add lukewarm milk, melted butter and egg
- Mix together to form a dough
- Dust surface lightly with flour and transfer dough
- Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Allow dough rest for 10 minutes
- Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out dough into a rectangle
- Cut out dough edges. Spread softened butter over dough
- Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mix over dough
- Cut the dough into strips. Roll each strip into a heart shape
- Transfer the cinnamon roll onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Place cherry into each cinnamon roll. Allow to rise for 20 – 30 minutes
- Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175°C for 10 – 12 minutes
- Ready. Allow to cool and serve. Enjoy!
