Cinnamon Heart Rolls Recipe

Ingredients

  • 430g Plain flour

  • 50g Golden Caster sugar

  • 7g Instant Yeast

  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt

  • 3/4 Cup Milk

  • 75g Butter (Melted)

  • 1 Eggs

  • 1/3 Cup Brown sugar

  • 2 Tablespoon Cinnamon powder

  • 40g Soft Butter

Directions

  • Place the plain flour into a bowl.
  • Add golden caster sugar, yeast and salt
  • Add lukewarm milk, melted butter and egg
  • Mix together to form a dough
  • Dust surface lightly with flour and transfer dough
  • Knead for 10 minutes until smooth. Allow dough rest for 10 minutes
  • Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll out dough into a rectangle
  • Cut out dough edges. Spread softened butter over dough
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon and sugar mix over dough
  • Cut the dough into strips. Roll each strip into a heart shape
  • Transfer the cinnamon roll onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  • Place cherry into each cinnamon roll. Allow to rise for 20 – 30 minutes
  • Bake in a pre-heated oven at 175°C for 10 – 12 minutes
  • Ready. Allow to cool and serve. Enjoy!
