STANDING PRIME RIB BEEF ROAST RECIPE

1.7Kg Prime Rib
1/3 Cup Peanut
2 Chili pepper
1/4 Sunflower oil
1 Tablespoon Salt
1/3 Cup Butter (Melted)
1 Teaspoon Ground Ginger powder
1/2 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
Directions
- For perfect and more even cooking, allow Prime Rib at room temperature for 1 to 2 hours
- Place peanut, chili pepper and sunflower oil in a blender and blend until smooth
- Add salt, ginger powder and minced garlic to melted butter.
- Mix together. Mix in chili peanut mix
- Spoon seasoning over it, rubbing it onto all sides
- Place on a roasting tray with rack
- Transfer to a preheated oven 240°C/465°F and 220°C for fan oven and roast for 20 minutes.
- Then reduce oven to 150°C/300°F and 130°C for fan oven. Roast for 1 hour
- Remove from oven. Cover with foil for 20 – 30 minutes to rest
